Here is a copy of the letter which we sent off to the record company who own the song which we used for out media project.

Dear Virgin Records,

   I am writing you this letter to ask if it would be possible for my group to use your song Liquid Confidence in our A level media coursework, to put towards a music video. The music video we will be doing will not be copying the current video for the song, as we have come up with new ideas, so we was wondering if we could use the song.

In the letter we have stated which song we intend to use and what we will be using it for so that the record company are clear on our intentions for the song. The reason for sending this letter was to let them know we will be using it so that we are not blamed for copy right.
